"Taste of McDonald" Menu and Venue Comments

The Taste of McDonald is a terrific chance to taste foods that you've never tried before. Never tried greens or pierogies? Now is the time!

MENU:
The menu below is subject to change (of course):
Here is a sampling of the items that we are planning to serve at this fun event:
Stuffed meatloaf, shrimp scampi, various fruit cobblers, potato salad provencale, Texas sheet cake, Polish Halushki (cabbage and noodles), BBQ ribs, Hummingbird cake (no hummingbirds are used in making this cake), pound cake, pierogies (Helen's famous dough rounds usually filled with potatos and various cheeses), corn on the cob, southern-style greens (you know - mustard, collard, turnip greens), green beans, fried chicken wings (prepared on site), veggie pizza, pineapple upside down cake, baked beans, brownies, and pretzel salad.

HOW IT WORKS:
You pay $1 for each ticket. One ticket will buy you one serving of anything we have except the ribs which will probably priced at two tickets. (We're still working out some of the details.) Beverages - sodas and water will also be available.

VENUE:
The McDonald Trail Station & Meeting House is the perfect venue for this event. There is picnic style seating available outside, but for those who prefer air conditioning, seating is also available inside. We'll be grilling the ribs and frying the wings outside. For directions, go to www.mcdonaldtrailstation.com. We're just 12 miles west of Robinson Towne Center.

Come join us for food, music, and fellowship!
See you there!
